By downloading or using Salitaan ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you are a parent or guardian installing the app for a child, you accept these terms on the child's behalf.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Salitaan on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer or lease any part of the app.
Every game in Salitaan is free. The one in-app purchase, Buong Barangay, removes advertising and is sold through Apple as a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is licensed to you, not sold, it follows your Apple ID (and your family group when Family Sharing is on), and it changes nothing about how the games play. The price is shown in the app before you buy, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. The purchase sits behind a parental gate; parents are responsible for purchases made on their devices.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob between rounds. Those ads are requested as child-directed and are not personalized. We do not control the advertisers and are not responsible for their content or for any site an ad may lead to.
Salitaan has no accounts, no online play and no server of ours. Progress lives on your device; if you delete the app or lose the device, that progress is gone and we cannot restore it.
The app, its illustrations, voice recordings, word lists, design and code are owned by Kanto Projects or used under license from their creators, and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The games it draws on, tumbang preso, sipa, bugtong and the rest, belong to everyone who ever played them.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Salitaan is a game, not a course, and we make no promise about what any child will learn from it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kanto Projects is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
