Nothing about you or your child is sent to us. The words a child has learned, their stars, their language choice and their reminder setting are stored only on the device. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no chat, and no server-side storage of any kind. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Salitaan is made for children and families. We do not ask for a name, an age, an email address, a photo or a location, and the app never asks a child to type anything about themselves. Purchases and any link out of the app sit behind a parental gate.
The free version shows short ads between rounds through Google AdMob. Because the app is made for children, every ad request is flagged as child-directed, so Google serves only non-personalized ads and does not use the device's advertising identifier. The app never asks for tracking permission. To show and measure those ads, Google may still receive the device's IP address (which gives a rough location), device and app identifiers, and how the ad was shown or tapped. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services. Buying Buong Barangay removes the ads for good.
The one purchase in the app, Buong Barangay, is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether the purchase has been made, and the app remembers that on the device.
The daily riddle reminder is a local notification scheduled on the device. Nothing is sent to us to deliver it.
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to export or delete: deleting the app removes everything it stored. For questions or requests, contact apps@kantoprojects.com.
